The 370 ft. marina face dock is currently being replaced with new concrete floating docks and transient boat services this summer.  This dock houses the fueling station and can accommodate transient vessels over 100 ft.   The work will begin in July lasting through the third week of August with the marina closed to transient dockage during this construction.  The improvements are part of a comprehensive upgrade to the facility located at Intracoastal Waterway Mile #583 (Marker #35). 

The marina provides mariners a tranquil setting with easy access to our repair facilities just across the basin, which has haul out capabilities.  Within walking distance to restaurants and a bus stop in Thunderbolt, it is also just a short distance from Historic Downtown Savannah.

A long standing tradition of fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a newspaper delivery to your vessel each morning makes Thunderbolt Marina a favorite stop along the ICW.  Plan to stop in this fall to see the new docks!
